The anticipation of a major construction boom, the renewal of our traditional industrial base, the diversification of the regional economy, the expansion of the health care sector, and the retirement of an aging workforce contribute to an emerging skills shortage in the Milwaukee area. The Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership has developed and supported a growing variety of training programs for community residents to improve their qualifications for careers in targeted industries.
