Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance the ability of private sector organizations to recruit and develop a more diverse qualified workforce in construction, manufacturing and emerging sectors of the regional economy.
The success of WRTP/BIG STEP lies in the success of those served. In 2010, WRTP/BIG STEP placed 224 individuals at jobs in the construction or manufacturing industries at an average wage of $18.24/hour.

Details: Join Building Advantage as they recognize an outstanding
woman in the trades with their first ever Building Advantage Woman of
the Year award. They are partnering with Women in Trades,
a WRTP/BIG STEP affiliated organization dedicated to supporting
women, to honor the hard work and dedication women provide in the
construction industry.
